How to write cv's and cover letters.
Having both a creative and professional cv, is handy to have. The use of a good CV
, can show employers how skilled you are and how much experience you have. When applying for the jobs that I have already, employers will always ask for a cv, but not always a cover letter. When applying for a job, even if it does not have a specification for a cover letter, it is best to send one, as this could put you above other applicants that have not sent one in.
Creating my CV, only took about half a day to complete, it’s a very easy process! There are websites that can help you create one if you are looking for inspiration or need a template to follow. Always list things such as skills, education, an overview and references and make sure that it isn’t too long either, anything outside 10 years previous can lengthen your CV, so, try keep it to a page maximum.
These are the two CV’s that I created, one which is to more of a professional standard, while the other is based on more of a creative one.
